It is hard!!! No argument there!!
Have you thought about an e-cig? Its what really is helping me this time! I seriously dont think I would be able to do it without it.
So you caved and smoked a cig, think about all the other cigs you didnt smoke!! Dont let that stop you from quitting!!

Hey, get back on - nicotine addiction is a tough thing to break. I bet I 'quit' chewing tobacco a dozen times until it finally took. For me the craving was far stronger than alcohol. Do not give up!

I quit two years ago. The hard part was, OH hell it was all hard. I was addicted to the habit not the nicotine. Sometimes I have dreams about smoking and wake up mad at myself for smoking again. LOL
Lol
I notice everyone smoking!!! And since I quit. it seems like EVERYONE SMOKES!
Driving in the car..oh look, the person behind me is smoking.....walking in/out of a store..oh look, that person is smoking.....taking the dogs for a walk...oh look, the neighbor is on his porch smoking.....grrrr.........

Yeah...I was around smoker's ...I smoked one yesterday and one today....bought An ecig ...I'll keep trying

That is OK. Just keep trying.

Think about what triggers the desire and try to prepare for it. Maybe even look forward to the challenge. I carried around straws, gum, and coffee stir sticks. Chewing and handling a straw, gum, etc. can fulfill some of the need.

I quit 15 years ago. I still enjoy the smell of a cigarette, especially when it is one of my old brands. I am still acutely aware of the things, times, activities that triggered a smoke. Just remember there is absolutely no upside to smoking an volumes of downside.

Lastly, once you have quit, don't be a crusader. Leave people who smoke alone! They will quit or not in their own time.

I used to smoke a pack a day! So 2 cigs..that is still great!! Keep on quitting! You know, I gave myself about 2 weeks with my e-cig before I fully quit regular cigs. I just told myself that I am switching brands. Truth be told, if I was unable to get my brand, I would have found another brand to smoke! It also gave me time to get used to the e-cig and find one that works for me, along with the flavor. (I am not into all the flavors they have, I just have tobacco flavor)
