You're saying that if I have a fenced in yard, I shouldn't let my three and a half year old out to play? That if someone else's dogs break into my fence (dig under, etc) that it's *my* fault for letting my child play in my private yard?
Here's a true story that shows how ridiculous laws and people can be:
Two years ago a small child was killed by a trespassing snowmobile while playing in the snow in front of their house. This case was recently settled in court and the drunk snowmobeler got off scot free! The childs parents were told it was their fault for not watching the child. That's our wonderful court system. All for the criminal and nothing for the victim!
