Ah, but only in laboratory settings, where the terrier's superior maneuverability does not come into play. In natural settings DNA analysis of VLDFM shows only chihuahua remnants in fecal matter. There is also a very low fertility rate among Great Dane males. Recent studies done at the FOWL institute has confirmed that the cause of this comes from small terriers using their superior maneuverability to emasculate the helpless Great Danes. This curious terrier ritual has left the Great Dane population in shambles, and special interest groups are working diligently to bring the Great Dane numbers back to comfortable levels. I do agree that there are idiots out there that shouldnt have dogs. But it is, in no way, the dogs fault. They do what comes naturally. Chickens/birds are prey to them, and they act on those instincts. I find it sick that somebody would shoot an innocent dog, who is just doing what is in their nature. If you free range your chickens, then you are taking a chance every time you let them out. I would not hesitate to shoot a hawk, falcon, etc. But a domestic animal is off limits, and I personally cant understand how somebody could be so cruel.

ETA: This is what I believe. Im not trying to make anybody upset, etc. Im just stating what I believe that I have a problem with people killing domestic animals.

I regard shooting a domestic animal (dog/cat) as animal cruelty, and any person that does that should be sent directly to jail.

We live down a dead end road. We are a mile from the main road. We have strays coming into our place all of the time. We have adopted and spayed/neutered a couple of them. Now we have yet another stray dog come in on us. It is chasing our chickens, so I have to keep them cooped up until this dog moves on. It is not fair to us, people being irresponsible..dropping their problems off on us all of the time..there is only so many dogs we can take in. This is how we got Mable our Great Dane mix. and 2 weeks ago a male pup we decided to keep! My point is.. people need to take responsible for there pets..if they don't want them..take them to the pound or find a home..don't let them become our problem or someone else s problem. It's nice to vent!!

Did I ever say that you are a bad person? No! I have seen your other posts on here, and i think that your a decent person.

I have nothing else to say, that was why i said that I was done here. if you have something else to say to me, pm me, and we can talk about it.

Everybody has different views, and I respect that, its just not what I believe.
