I really could use some sound advice....

Do you mean buy a day old and put him in the incubator or when he's healthy enough to move?

Hatching egg's is a crap shoot but first where did you quire the
egg's from should be the first question you should have been
asked as mail order egg's are more for the advanced hatcher
as the air bubbles do get detached in shipping and local egg's
are not as bounced around so much this all makes a big, big
difference

keep the chick in a good warm place and if you have a water
squirt bottle that is clean of bacteria use that to keep the egg
sack moist so it wont stick to anything

Woke up this morning and he's all dry and hopping around the Incubater and cheering away. He soaked up all the yolk sac and the shell detached. He made it!!!!! Yay!!!! Thank you all!!!!!
 
I went to the local Feed Mill this morning and got a buddy for him too, just as advised :) You guys are AWESOME! Thank you sooo much!!! He is so cute & clumsy, lol
