I rescued a tame chicken and now I'm a chicken owner

I saw chicks at the feed store today. Is it okay to introduce chicks to a young adult hen? She's not laying yet, but she's not a baby.

Probably do at least a few chicks and defiantly give them somewhere they can get that she can't. That is after they are done with the brood stage.

You can probably do the look but don't touch method with them. The chicks at Kahoots are 1-2 weeks old I think.

When the babies grow most or all of there feathers, Thats when I would interduce them to Rose using the See But No Touch Method.There are plenty of those threads and articles on this site, I suggest looking it up
