We have around -10 °C in cold winter nights.I have one that is in molt right now. She is always my early molter. It is nice when they molt earlier when the weather is nice. I haven’t had to worry about her nearly as much. But it will never fail that the rest molt in November-January when there are -20f nights.
Corn seems to be good winter food too. But here the only sell GMO or non organic corn I don’t trust for poison residues.Sunflowers seeds are a good idea. I don’t think there are hemp seeds readily available that I can think of. I’ll have to look and see if I can find some for them to try.
I suppose mine are a little too spoiled if I’m being honest. Perhaps theyre like toddlers that have become too picky about their food!
