i somehow acquired 2 runaways and i have questions. please help

I have one that is in molt right now. She is always my early molter. It is nice when they molt earlier when the weather is nice. I haven’t had to worry about her nearly as much. But it will never fail that the rest molt in November-January when there are -20f nights.
We have around -10 °C in cold winter nights.
Sunflowers seeds are a good idea. I don’t think there are hemp seeds readily available that I can think of. I’ll have to look and see if I can find some for them to try.
Corn seems to be good winter food too. But here the only sell GMO or non organic corn I don’t trust for poison residues.
I suppose mine are a little too spoiled if I’m being honest. Perhaps theyre like toddlers that have become too picky about their food!
😁

Like toddlers, I bet chickens can learn that they only get a dessert after diner. And only if they finished their plate.

Mine only get a dessert after returning to the run when free ranging time is over.

mine are like a kid who won't eat any vegetables and will only accept vanilla ice cream for dessert. and even then, the ice cream might not be worth going in for 😂

i have a headless one footed chicken.

the schoolkids are back! (loudly!)
they were blowing bubbles. well, you know, with the wand thing.
they were all blowing into my garden. it's been pretty breezy.
the chickens thought they were under attack and hid under me until they stopped. 😂
chickens are weird.
