That is too funny! What is that plant you have in the pot in there for them?
the big plant is kale, but they don't really touch it. there's also oregano, thyme and fennel in there. there WAS grass, marigolds and pansies i there too, but they ate them. and i keep planting alfalfa sprouts that they eat as soon as they turn up.
the other little black window pot in front of the dustbath big pot had grass and sprouts too, but there's not much left in there.

i keep digging out clumps of grass from (what i think are) inconspicuous areas. soon the husband is going to wonder why there are big chunks missing out of the lawn 😂

checking in and saying hello!
we're all good 🤞🏼
louise has been moulting since i think the end of august? beginning of september? and isn't laying eggs. she's miserable and her feet are banjaxed. i'm using the vaseline on her legs again. she's a mess. but she's really sweet when she's suffering. lol!
i haven't had any trouble from her at all, really. no complaining or anything!

thelma is laying almost every day! (she was sort of an every other dayer). she's also taking advantage of the louise situation and is getting a bit rowdy. she yells at me when she wants something, and yesterday, she puffed up at louise and jumped at her with her feet. today she pecked louise! lol! she's gonna be in SO much trouble when louise is back to normal.
she still cute and sweet though.

it's getting colder and all my greenhouse plants have been either pulled out or dying, so we're hanging out in there a lot where it's warm. and it's like big pot heaven. they're so happy to be allowed in!

nothing else to report, really...
other than there is a big greyhound on the loose in my village...and OTHER villages... there have been sightings of him for miles! and nobody can catch him. but he's in bad shape, and of course he has come through my front garden the past two days. caught on camera. of course he is. i somehow get all the creatures. i am on high alert for the chickens! 🦸🏻‍♀️

also, i am not going near that dog. i already have somebody else's chickens.

show me your chicken pics please! is everybody else moulting and miserable?

Pooh says moulting? What do you mean moulting? I’m not moulting, my tail feather is a fashion statement!
