I’m sorry the pics aren’t the greatest however I purchased 2 buff Orpingtons and the lovely lady did her best to sex n give me a roo. I think she did well lol. They are (not 100% as sometimes they sit in the bins longer than a day) about 3 1/2 weeks old...well let me just say I got them 3 1/2 weeks ago. Anywho about a week ago I noticed 1 started getting red comb and was standing taller strutting it’s stuff. So I looked at info on here and read these are common in this breed for a rooster characteristics. But usually don’t happen until about 4 weeks. So here are a face shot of summer I think is hen and winter (my mother named them) I think is rooster. And a difficult shot of them coming out of the house side by side. The one standing to right of waterer is the one I think is a rooster.
