The first pip from last night is looking leathery not white. Trying not to worry....

Give it 24 hours. It can take that long from pip to zip.

Congrats on your first baby! I wouldn't worry too much about humidity from this point - as chicks dry off, the humidity will go up. It's normal.

Your egg from last night also looks normal! The chick has pipped externally, so it's probably just resting, absorbing the last of its yolk, and getting ready to zip.
