We don’t have foxes in the part of Florida I live inIt was most likely a fox .They are small enough to go in a small coop door and carry them out in their mouth .

Florida had gray foxes and red both depending on where you live. Not sure why you wouldn't have any where you live because one or the other or both are all over the USWe don’t have foxes in the part of Florida I live in
Not many 4 legged predators can carry off a chicken except a fox, coyote or bob cats. Whatever it was had to fit inside the door unless it was caught outside (which is possible)We don’t have foxes in the part of Florida I live in
They have naturalized in all parts of the state sorry. https://myfwc.com/wildlifehabitats/profiles/mammals/land/red-fox/We don’t have foxes in the part of Florida I live in
Hawks pull apart they’re prey and you’d be more likely to find the body then you would a wing. Raccoons tend to rip off a chickens head and drag they’re body’s not very far away from the coop. As others have said it’s probably a fox. I’m not sure if this has been mentioned before but you have to lock the gate and keep them in they’re run for at least a week since the predator will be back for another easy meal. It’s confirmed she’s dead. He said he found a wing and a whole bunch of feathers. Still no body. We think Maybe raccoon or hawk. My mom said she’ll have to learn to get used to being by herself now.
If you know someone who has other chickens it would be better that she go live with them than live alone . Please do whats best for her so she doesn't suffer alone with no friend. It’s confirmed she’s dead. He said he found a wing and a whole bunch of feathers. Still no body. Where my dad found the wing was very close to the coop. We think it’s a raccoon bc there is a trail of feathers all in a direction and even on the fenceHawks pull apart they’re prey and you’d be more likely to find the body then you would a wing. I’m very sorry for your loss.
