Update: so I called the state agricultural department and it would cost $30 to get A bird tested and they are an hour each way. So needless to say I can't afford that. I called te local coop and am waiting to hear back from a person. The woman i spoke to was going to email a contact she knows. I was advised by someone on BYC facebook to search out the local NPIP association and see if they will test for me but I haven't been able to find one and the vets here want anywhere from 70-150 to test.
So basically I am waiting to hear back from the coop. Good news is one of RIR layer their first egg so we have an egg finally from them! Bad news I started their Tylan treatment this afternoon so anything from here on out is chicken feed.
still debating on culling or keeping.
