Not that unusual for your geese to breed this time of year, especially if weather pattern warms up. Production breeds (embden, toulouse, chinese) tend to lay year round if they do not have babies to raise, unless it is bitter cold. I have two production bred girls breeding and checking out nest boxes to lay right now. I've had November clutches and January clutches. I used to think breeding season only went from Feb to May, but I have learned it is more off/on all year, depending on the goose. I once even had a buff dewlap toulouse born on Christmas Day (which was a bit of a shocker to me, but the best Christmas present ever!)
