Hey, do you know of any bedding alternatives? I've found that she walks better on firm surfaces than she does on bedding, and is able to pick herself up better too.

You can use paper towels, you would just have to change it quite often. I've also used old receiving blankets in an emergency, they also need to be changed daily, maybe even twice a day. Old towels would probably work even better. You can use pretty much anything as long as it's absorbent and has enough grip for their little feet.
