Sorry I havent been on sooner today, its been a busy one! I did call about the place and going to see it tomorrow. Tiki, all I did out of curiousity was see what was on Realtor.com. It doesnt bring up all the houses but it sure brings up enough! As far as where it is, it is west of Faribault.
LOL, I too would rather have the cold winters than heat! I lived in Texas and missed the snow....maybe I am glutton for punishment...

I love the area around Faibault, I went to college in Northfield, and its some pretty country. Hope it works out for you. Let us know what the farm is like. If you can get nice places that close to the Twin Cities, I might have to consider moving back to the frozen northland.

Well, I went and saw it, LOOKS like everything is a go, in the process of filling out the paperwork right now.

I also want to have an inspection done before finalizing anything. As soon as it is officially "ours" I will post pics. I just hate to jinx it.

mom'sfolly, there ARE actually decent places within driving distance of the twin cities, it just takes some looking.
I have seen realtors not show the "fixer uppers" or at least not spend as much time trying to move them. So just ask.
I would have rather found something in this neck of the woods, but Faribault is still not bad or too far and cant beat the price for certain.
I promise to post pics as I get things more flowing in the right direction.
And I could have a "Chickenstock" for any BYCers!
