You mean you can't just stick them in an envelope, lick the flap, put on a stamp and send them on their way? What's wrong with that?
I am really surprised that someone really thought the eggs would get there in one piece. I am assuming that the envelope was one of those cushioned ones but even then, no way are eggs going to make it that way.
I hope they get their money back. You can't say it's the post office's fault in this case!
