I'm on a cooking bent today. Full on frenzy. Got me a some Martha on the brain. Plus I need to soothe the canning bug. Too many empty jars in the house.

Started:
Turned last week's unexciting cassoulet into yummy soup -> pressure canning it
Split pea soup is on the stove top

Intended:
Pressure can the split pea soup
Baked chicken -> chicken stock -> canned chicken stock
Sesame bagels
Pizza dough -> pizza
Quiche

Maybe some cookies.

Whoa, sounds like a great idea! Sunday is my cooking for the week day- but I am slacking- all I've done is start a crockpot of dog food. Well, DH got sausage and eggs for breakfast....

I have a "bunchload" of oranges to turn into marmalade, need to make bread and biscuits for the leftover sausage.........

Got a good recipe for sweet potato biscuits? Most I find are too icky sweet.

Greek diner-style rice pudding on the stovetop
my husband's making pizza for tonight
banana bread going into the oven

well, well, well! it has been a baking and cooking marathon! rock on! some days it just feels good to get a bunch done!

i only made two loaves of bread today. my whole family was gone so i was just not going to make big meals for me and the cats/dog. nope. but that Trinity Loaf is calling me....


keep it up and thanks for sharing. when we inspire each other, it helps us to feel like doing all of this isn't mundane, but fun!
