Never to late to still train her! Also if the worst happens you can always "spank" her with the ummm departed chicken... it does work. You might want to find a place to tie her up just incase you need to turn your back, it will at least give you chicken a chance. We trained our 70 year old boxer... and she in the past has taken out several flocks... but she has not and will not touch ours after working with her. I trust to leave her off the chain... but she likes to run off and go visit and with a neighbor like we have we have to keep her chained.

you will need to flush and reapply the neosporin each day... personally I would not use the neosporin with the pain med in it as some birds are very sensitive to it and there are warnings about this on several sites.
