Why I want these Eggs
I want a beautiful bird that makes my eyes pop
And the traffic on the road come to a full stop

I want a bird that say hey there look at me
Aren't I the prettiest thing you ever did see?

I want a bird that is a color like no other
Some chicks that I can love and mother

I want a bird that will have a special place
These will certainly win the beauty race

I want these birds because it will make others
Want some little chicks & be chick mothers

No longer would I have to explain my chickie passion
These would be birds of the highest style & fashion

And of course, yes its really true
That my favorite color in the world is blue

I am a newbie to the whole chicken experience and I am very excited about it!! In fact, I got so excited I ordered an incubator and eggs at the same time

Needless to say, not a good idea. The incubator never came and the eggs came early. Now they have sat on a shelf for over 10 days. the incubator came today, but I have little hope of the eggs developing.

Give a stupid newbie another chance

I want to win the eggs so I can try again to be a chicken mom

p.s. Even if I don't win, it is very generous of you to offer eggs for free!

Hey Pumpkinpup, This is so cool! Great idea!

Not very expensive and it gets people going. Being a newbe, this may have been done many times, unknown to me.

Since I have many chickens, and many eggs, as soon as I stop spending all my spare dollars on more chickens and more eggs I will do the same thing, maybe this fall or early spring.

If you don't mind I'll get a little coaching on how in the world do you decide. Most all responces are great.

Thanks again and everybody keep 1 eye open, hopefully

will be something rare or exotic from here in da sticks in Indiana.

I am a member of CHA (Chicken Hatching Anonymous). I recently fell off the wagon for some banty eggs, that I just couldn't resist. Having some blue barred rocks would be such a high! Especially since my BO hens are incredibly stupid

. BO rooster is very smart but I don't know what happened to those hens. They must loose a brain cell everytime they lay an egg.

I am still new to the whole hatching thing. I have set about 4 times and the best results I have had so far was the last round. I had 12 out of 39 hatch. So I am getting a little better as I go. I just cannot keep spending money on eggs right now. Both of my sons birthdays are coming up so the egg budget has been redirected. They also love the babies that we have been able to hatch. So we would love the eggs to add to our family.

This was the only chick to survive out of one of our hatches. We call him/her Luey.

Luey is turning into a real "house" chicken

yes I would like to have these eggs. For when they hatch and grow I can set and remember my own little children growing up.All the joys of their good times and the bad times They can help ease my mind from a day of worry and haveing so much stress thur out the day.Watching chicks is so peasefull and for a while you are somewhere else. When the Chicks are grown up they will still be with you and not leave on their on.
