So, when it rains while I'm at work, I'm stuck at my desk until it stops. So right now, I am bored out of my mind :barnie
When I'm on BYC, I tend to just click the "What's new" tab and just scroll through it until I reach the end. I then go to the forums tab and try to find something interesting. I feel like I'm not getting the "full experience". How can I find things that I can help with or have fun talking about? A lot of the threads I find are either old or have a million responses so it feels a little pointless to respond because someone's already said what I was going to say. I'm not complainging, I just want to figure out how to have a little more fun on this forum.

I have also written two articles so far but haven't had too much traction on them. :(

Also, if you have any tips for being bored as you know what at work, please share :D

I can't say as I get bored as I work from home and have two windows to the chicken yard here so I have to stop watching them to get back to work!

However, on occasion, I've jumped into some of the threads in the forum you posted in. If you go to some of them that are huge and look, you might find ones you'd like to converse in now and then. Those are all open to anyone to jump in and just say, "Hi" to start out with.

A couple of times daily, I check the unanswered thread list to see if there's anyone I can help there.

There are also forums here on gardening, hobbies, etc. that you might take an interest in. Those are in the Forums list.

I think once you find your nitch in some of the forums or threads here, you'll find yourself checking in to them often. ☺️

Thank you! I'll check those out.
