Our neighbours duck is sitting on her FOURTH batch of eggs this year, night by our doorstep again… None of her babies have survived to adulthood and quickly get killed. My first incubator just arrived and I’m exerting my utmost will not to go snatch some eggs from Madame Hissy

I would take the eggs. It’s the right thing to do. Take the eggs = possible angry neighbor/duck, not take the eggs= dead babies. Your choice! I would take the eggs!

If they're on your property I would take them. If your neighbors get mad tell them they can claim the eggs as soon as they come and claim all of their ducks sh*t

I’m not sure how viable they are, they feel a bit cool to the touch. We have nowhere to put them either! Posting in a local group to see if anyone would want them if I do incubate (successfully obvs). She’s easily bribed by the mere crinkle of the feed bag still

When should the incubator come? Couldn't you just let her sit on them till the incubator comes?
