I would like to ask for a moment

One thing I am seeing in all of these posts is that people expect North Korea to react as w would. They have an very different culture and set of values than western civilization; the same with many other countries--their culture and values are so different than ours that we have a difficult time understanding their actions and motivations. No, he is not mentally ill, although he is physically in poor health.

take this how you will but.................

Grandpa still has 8 lbs of shrapnel in him from the tank he was standing on when the mortar blew it up.. 3 years of rehab, and countless pieces that have worked themselves out of his body in the most painful ways... plus the Hanoi Hilton... My buddy who's stationed over there in SK, a step uncle who works for the NCS watching over the area, and many many folks I know indirectly from old school days who are either Dyn Corp, black water, or whatever PMC they are currently with are very nervous.

It's enough to make me wonder. How hard would it be to strap a scud to a diesel sub (which they have quite a few of) that just so happened to be off the coast somewhere............. Personally I must slightly disagree, I think Kim Jong Il was perfectly portrayed on Team America.. world's police.....

He is so lonely, so very lonely...........

Sacred war, huh? Which "god" is backing him?

Just for the official record here SPAIN won the cup this year. their first. Italia before that (woot their 4th). The Korea Republic came in 4th back in 2002 but that is the closest they have ever come to winning one. If that's not looney propaganda I don't know what is. And if they're willing to lie outright about something that trivial who knows what other gunk they're putting out.

You are hereby labeled an insurrectionist.

Surrender your passport, driver's license and shave your head. Say goodbye to your family. We only want to ask you some questions.....

I agree that we need to worry about our domestic problems. For what it's worth, Japan, due to history going back to WW11, does not have nuclear capability although there is more and more talk that they may have it in the future. NK sank a ship belonging to South Korea, who is one of our long-time allies. At this point in time, the US and South Korea are participating in a very large military exercise. NK is chest thumping and throwing a fit because they forbade the US and SK to have the exercises and it got them nowhere.

Small name, huge ego. When will they learn?

I say not underestimate any threat, from any country. After 911, I think that everything should be taken seriously. I also believe that there is fine print in the Geneva Convention that says that the United States of America is the only country that has to follow the treaties and protocols.
