at home I have 1 barred rock-from animal control. 4 silkies-never get again.1 mix of some sort.
at work a few salmon fav, few chanteclers=would love to get the roo a few buff girls. 1 cornish, 1 jersey hen, a couple speckled sussex do not like them-airheads. bunch of chantecler/jersey mix chicks pretty birds. and muscovey ducks.

Really want some d'uccle girls for home.

eggs are fine to sell. Processed chickens are a no no, but just keep it on the down low. You can sell the live bird and "process it for the buyer as a gift." Just don't advertise, as I see some bold people do. You can get in trouble for that. Even better, have the buyer come and help process the birds!

Thanks FPFarms for the reply. Where did you say you are located? I see you have Welsummer's. I think that is one of the breeds I may start early next year. I want to get another batch of young pullets started and maybe with a breed or two add a roo. I have to decide what breed I want to have chicks from if I hatch them so will only get a roo for that breed.

I'm in Troy Mills, 25 miles north of Cedar Rapids. We have Wellies. I travel to swap meets quite a bit and would be happy to meet you at one that I'm attending with an order.

The only ones I hit are Burlington and Waverly. Sometimes others, but not often. I'm not familiar with any near Winterset.

Ok and I am never over in those directions. I hear there is a swap or bird show in Stuart quite a bit. I don't know anything about it though.
