IA here

My new chickens are very very mean to my chickens. My chickens are biger but thees red hens have them tereized. You should see my huge light brama roo running from a little red hen. But it is not funny. I will have to seperate them. I have 2 big emty dog houses I could make them a yard around the dog house and put them in there if they will not be good. I feel so sorry for my poor sweet chickens. I think I will go out and take the meanest ones and put them in my hubbys traveling dog kenels.???? He hunts with bird dogs, they are big kennels.

busy busy busy OH I got to go turn the eggs feed all the baby chicks and then go clean my monday house, yippi lisa

They have tried to be mean to mine, but mine don't take no crap from nobody. Now they are just off on their own. I feel bad for them, they just don't know how to be chickens. I think they will come around eventually. Lisa - you have a Monday house? Or do you just do housework on a set schedule?

I clean a house every monday and 1 every other tuesday. I am looking for 1 more everyweek house. I am so happy to be able to work like this. I had 9 houses last year but I got so sick that I could not work any more. I am on steriods now that is why I am working.

I put the meanest hen in the dog kennel. I will go sit out there with them and see how it is going now. I feel so bad for my sweet chickens. If things do not improve I will get rid of the mean hens.

Do you feed your laying hens all that they will eat?

I have to go lay down for a while, I wish I did not have to. I NEVER get all of my work done....

Poofy will get used to it. She needs someone to hold her and tell her it's okay. Do you have any birds her size?

As far as the other birds, you should pen them next to each other, until they get used to each other and then integrate before one of them gets hurt.

How are things going? Haven't heard from you for awhile. Had good showing in New Ulm. All BB and BV's and RB, RV's. All but one, the Buckeye. After she molted, her feathers did not come in the right color. Unless she gets darker, it will sadly be her last show.

Lisa, she is a good bantam layer? Interested?

David won $10.00 for the bantam Delaware rooster. The judge was impressed! Should have made him buy lunch but didn't.........

Noahs' last football game is this afternoon, they are undefeated at this point it would be nice to end the season that way.

Mike, how are things in Sac City? Haven't heard from you in a while either!

Chicks doing a good job of hatching so far, could be 100%! Can hear them chipping away as I keyboard.......
