IA here

I've tried to cut it out of her mouth, she seems to have swallowed it and it is caught under her tongue. At the moment, she has parts of the string ends under her tongue and down her throat. I've tried to gently tug it and it won't move, plus I can't find where it is caught to unstick it either.

she is a very gentle bird - she was part of my late spring hatch and hasn't started to lay yet.

would her digestive juices dissolve it?

I am also wondering if I should take her to the vet

You should get her to a vet. They have tiny instruments to untangle/cut out the string. What she has eaten, they should be able to pull out I would think. Poor girl...... Good luck.

Regarding the Flemish color not important leaning towards a male since they get big but a nice gal would be ok. age baby to young adult:) I just think they are cool rabbits:D
