IA (incubators anonymous) September Hatches?

Pics
Do you have a picture? Day 19 isn't super uncommon, especially if you're temp was a little warm.
Yeah it was soo weird, I didn't hear any pip, zip, dip.... or whatever else term you guys use that would have gave me a sign that hatching is near! I just came back home, heard a peeping noise and saw my chick completely out of his shell already! It was like he couldn't wait to come into the world! So, a little bit of bleeding is OK, right?

Sometimes they're super quick about it! But, sometimes they'll externally pip for 24 hours (or more) before they start zipping.
Internal Pip=When they break through the membrane into the air cell
External Pip=The small break they make in the shell to start
Zipping=When they turn in the shell to "unzip" the top part of the egg

My hen has decided to go broody, it seems...... should I just leave the rest of the eggs for her to hatch? Or should I take it and bake it in the incubator?

That last hatch was my first real “bad” one... but it messed me up lol with this one I feel I’ve lost my zest for it lmao I’m sure I’ll get it back. Probably self preservation/heart ache prevention :confused:
Haha, I feel like that several times a week. What with all the work that has been involved in building a coop, run, raising several batches of baby chicks and keets, and all for the first time. It started as a tick extermination project. It was a success, but I'm still going, lol. I also have two 20 week Border Pyrenees cross pups that take constant supervision right now. It has been a very busy summer with a lot of ups and downs, but very fun and exciting too. I only got 4 chicks out of 24 gamefowl eggs. I was disappointed and they were expensive but that's the risk with shipped eggs I guess. I already had too many birds, and at least there will be one game for each of us. Maybe some luck will hold out and I'll have one stag and three hens. I eventually recover from one disappointment or another; I'm sure you will too when that next egg pips!

My first post so if I'm not posting in the right place I'm sorry .But im looking to start over I've had chickens all my life but recently a bob cat fell through the wire on top of my run on my coop and well you can image! I love hatching babys and looking forward to doing that but having trouble finding easter eggers & americanas eggs to by or quality birds in my area (Redding ca ) would love any helpful info Thank you in advance!
@KikiLeigh02 gave you the links to help you find other members in CA. Hopefully you can find some local breeders offering the types you are looking for. And you are most welcome to hang out here with us, too, and ask any questions you have to help you get back into hatching!
