IB silver pied hens and opal silver pied hens

This is a hen from the silver pied pen which the seller said its could be split peach, i can see some odd color feathers on her, some of them looked orange, aren't she look different?

The orange feathers are they down in front of her legs?

That looks just like coloring from a regular india blue hen. They have that creaminess to them. She is a stunning hen. I would love to have her myself. So jealous lol.

Yes, and she has many beige feathers on her body not like the other hen, i will share a video of her soon.

Well, maybe, I didn't have any India blue, silver pied hens before, hope you have nicer hen sometimes, if you were close i would give it to you

My understanding is an IB will have cream colored feathers there, but if they have some green blood they can have the orange looking feathers instead, so I was thinking maybe she is a very low % spalding. My spalding has very orange feathers there and if I kept breeding her offspring back to silver pied males eventually I would have a SP hen that might have that orange color from the green blood.

That's interesting, is your hen split for another color? Her color looks different. I just found a wing band on her wing, with code GCC, now i need to find which farm code is this. I also find a wing band on the silver pied male split peach, he is from, DMfarm, If anyone knows Doug email from DMfarm please let me know, i want to ask him about this male.

I think she is split to BS and WE and possibly Pied, but those are all pattern splits, her mother was a regular IBBS split to PIED and WE, father was Green possibly high % spalding, no other known color splits on him. Of course, until I actually breed her for awhile I won't know for sure if she carries any other color. She is very brightly colored.

I have my cameo hen that I adore like no other. I appreciate the generosity if we were closer.... just don't know why Kuwait had to be placed so far away from me. lol

I think she is split to BS and WE and possibly Pied, but those are all pattern splits, her mother was a regular IBBS split to PIED and WE, father was Green possibly high % spalding, no other known color splits on him. The orange color on her breast is the green blood in her and the beigh feathers are also from the green blood, i have a hen here out of a spalding that looks just like her.
