Icelandic Chickens

Not many landlines up here, mostly cell phones. Not wholly reliable up here.

I will try to get some pics now that I amnot tied to building pens.

I think I will get a light out there for them, I want some eggs, for me and scramble eve treats for the Fab Feathered Three. The Purrkids would like some too.

Life is good! And better with Icelandic Chickens and Pack Goats !

It is 45F here this morn, and raining, we have lost a great deal of our snow and I am really hoping much more today, we will have enough left and real winter will be here all too soon, right now it has increased froma steady drizzle to a steady rain. Flooding somewhere around here to be. Glad I am on the hill now. So far , so far, none of the heavy winds that Robin had, so far.

Happy Thanksgiving to all here,

Yeah, the Purrkids are just getting into what they see as normal, the adults sleep on, but the little ones figure based on their stomachs and when the wake up they are up. So they run laps up and down the length of me playing King of the Mtn.

The rain is bringing everything off the roofs, cabin, critter shed and stock trailer.

A reprieve, for a little while.

Here is a few more picture of the Icelandics taken by my SIL- My SIL is amazing on how she takes pictures, and fixes them up.

Nice going at work Daron !! Good moves !

I like the pic with the willow, great trees !

Our wind has picked up, for almost three days we have had very little now its gusting pretty good. Cooling down a tad too, I put a light out with the Icees, maybe that will get them back to laying. All I had was a heat lamp, will get a smaller one in a couple of days.
