She was probably exhausted from finishing it and will be here later to make all of us jealous!!

I got most of the birds moved around last night. I started feeling sick yesterday morning so I still need to get a few things done today. Today will be Elska's first day of free ranging with the flock in a few months. My egg production may drop-off considerably for the next few weeks with the changes but I'm hoping by the first week of March to have everyone settled in and laying so I can collect plenty of eggs for the Easter Hatchalong!

Me FIVE!!!

I got 4 Icelandic eggs today out of the 5 pullets that are old enough to lay!!! The youngest two should start this month as well... Guess what I'll be hatching for Easter!!!
:woot yay Shawn! I have a request for some of my Icelandic Easter chicks to ship out to Fairbanks. I'm excited to be sharing the beauty

Jackson Hole is gorgeous for sure. The Teton's are AMAZING. Jackson Hole has become really trendy with all their fru fru shops - seems to be a rich people's playground now. We went through on our way home from Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone several years ago.

Sorry, we worked till way past dark. I started at 0700 painting the siding and we quit at 1930. Didn't quite finish as we had trouble with the screen installation. It was all wavy and looked horrible. So we tore it down and I went back and bought larger pieces so we had more fabric to work with to stretch and tighten. It looks good now! It is hard to even see the screen, but it is there. We are putting epoxy garage floor coating on the cement so we left the siding off the inside until the floor is done.

Here is how it looks from the front.

You can see the problem with the screen door in this picture. It fits on the left but there is a gap on the right. We are going to try to shim it in and cover any gaps with trim. The corner by the air compressor will be where my cabinets, and incubators and brooders will go. I am just going with base cabinets and a laminate countertop. I don't want to attach anything to the cement siding. The room is 12 x 20.

That's it for now. Michael is busy today so we probably won't get anything done. I'll go buy materials and be ready for tomorrow. I won't be able to do the epoxy floor application because of my lung disese. Too many fumes.

Off to Home Depot, my home away from home. Again sorry for the delay in updating.
