Icelandic Chickens

Mary, It's looking good!! Isn't it amazing that no matter how much we plan ahead, there is always something that causes a project to take longer than we thought!
The screen is nearly invisible, that's what I like about it. When we did the screened in porch on the back of our house, we used the screen made for a two-car garage opening. We only have one support where the seam was on the middle of the screen, then stretched it from the center seam to both sides. It's been beaten by the north wind for 12 years now and still looks great.
The epoxy floor sounds like it will be easy maintenance too!!

Thanks guys. That has always been an awkward space that mostly gathered stuff and tools left laying around. We are really glad to give it a purpose. It will also help guide people to our real front door. We had a pizza delivered last night and for the first time the driver came to the front door instead of my office door.

Looks great Mary. We have an awkward door situation too and never know where the pizza guy will show up. Someday I'll have to show you pictures and share my idea for a solution so you can help me fine-tune it ;)

Congrats on the great new space. :D

Here are some pics of the Icelandics which hatched yesterday. One more hatched today, its lighter in color and is drying off, and one is pipped at the wrong end. Hopefully I'll attach the pics correctly.

Yay, we always love seeing pics of new chicks! Congrats to you on the new additions and to Daron for getting Icelandics spread throughout the U.S.!
