Mary, The eggs are going into lockdown in a few hours. I am going to hatch them in one of my new hatchers ... which is a Brinsea Eco, with none of the bells and whistles .... no humidity pump or anything. HOW do I add water without opening this thing? I can't plug the vent by having a tube in that, or they won't get enough oxygen. I am already worried about that .... not enough vent opening with only one tiny hole there.
Shoot, I like the styrofoam hatchers, because I can poke holes in them. I like oxygen holes for the hatch......

I usually use my Brinsea Advance for hatching because I can use the automatic humidity pump. But, I have used the ECO for hatching with a length of thin IV tubing through the vent into the bottom. I cut sponges to fit the grooves and then whenever needed I just injected some water in. The IV tubing was small enough to still let air in because my chicks were fine. You could always use a more rigid tubing and put in through the vent as needed and then take it out. You should be able to place a piece of absorbent material right underneath the egg tray to add the water to. It will work. Lots of people use these so they can't all be wrong. You may have spent too much time chatting with Mahonri!

National Poultry Improvement Plan - it's where the government comes out and tests your birds and certifies you as disease free. They certify you as Pullorum/Typhoid clean. It's done yearly. Of course the "disease free" is only valid at the time of testing.
