They don't seem to mind you didn't dress for the occasion. It is a good thing the chickens aren't fashion divas at my place either. Or maybe they are actually, they like to roost in the rafters and "accessorize" unwary pedestrians in the coop.

Well I think the Icelandic hatch is over, started with 10 eggs and now have 8 little fluffy butts. I don't see any pips on the last 2 eggs right now but since they were actually due tomorrow I may still. I am happy with the 8 though.
 
8 out of 10 isnot bad atall !

If Flekka is getting that much attention some of her suitors need to be restricted access.

This is one secondary reason why I prefer only two roosters with the hens. The main reason being I want to limit the studs in the flock. They being hopefully the best of the crop.
 
mbmess - well you aren't gorgeous like Happy Chooks but, you'll do. You look kinda like Jim Caviezal on "Person of Interest." - he's my fav on tv at this moment in time.
