It sure sounds tough to wait! But at least you have some! I would love to be agonizing over the wait for these babies to hatch! But I dont have an incubator or a broody hen yet...

Heres to a successful hatch!

I HAVE NOISE!!

My broody is very friendly and doesnt mind us messing with her so today i HAD to peek.
No pips, but I heard scratching inside 2 of the eggs.

They are now back under mama and I am sure that I will have pips and maybe zips tomorrow!!

I have a sad update .. My one egg that I did not think was doing anything, had pipped last night, she was doing well at 2 am then at 7am she she had stopped chirping. Upon closer inspection I realized that somewho when I put them in lockdown I didnt get the lid on the bator correctly and so most of the water had evap[orated.. Sadly the lil one was shrinkwrapped inside the egg and didnt make it.. no the other egg is still in the bator and hasnt pipped yet so (fingers crossed) it will survive...
Sorry for the sad update, I am just sick over this .. I guess the one good thing is that I now know that my hydrometer id not correct so I can alteast correct that issue before next hatching season..

I'm so sorry. I know how you feel though. Mary had given me an Icelandic egg to finish hatching for her. It never hatched and I felt terrible about it, but it had died a week or so before the hatch date.

My magic fairy wand says more eggs are in your future.
