Mahonri, those show type BRs are not so easy to sex like the hatchery types, I tell ya. You may be fooled a bit. Go by the leg wash more than the head spots.

Guess who was running around in the Brinsea this morning yelling "I'm going to Idaho, I'm going to Idaho?" Yep, little bitty fragile baby!

I put her in the Hovabator with the others and now I am not sure which one she is. There are two smaller ones that look alike! Can you find her?

Also, NotAFarm Mary was the contest winner with her guess of 17 because 17 are going in the box right now! I just received confirmation that the prize has shipped so it will be off to you soon! Don't ya just love second chances?

Of the three viable eggs in the incubator, one had just started zipping the other two haven't pipped but one is chirping it's head off. The other I candled and don't see movement. I took Skye's infertile eggs out from under her and slipped these three in. She should have at least one baby by the time I get home!

I actually had enough Gro-Gel for a nice amount when mixed with the water so I am hoping it will see them through their journey. The box will be an ugly mess, but who cares? Ok, I am off to the postal hub in Sacramento!

Thanks for putting up with all my nonsense. You guys are the best!

Saying that I do have to say that you sent me a much better looking one ! Blau is going to be an asolutely gorgeous roo, probably the most gorgeous in America

Today my little guys get split into two groups, they dont need each other for heat now. And I can get to know them better split up.

Well, Kola is off the nest today. Weird that she was on the nest at lockup time last night. Maybe she is reconsidering?

Well I am back from Sacramento! Here is a picture of the babies in the shipping box with their Gro-Gel just before I put the lid on.

When I got home I checked Skye and she had that look.

So I lifted up her wing.
