Its pouring rain out right now, my Icelandics know enough to get in out of the rain.

Life is good, if wet, and better with Icelandics and Goats !

We moved Lukka and the babies back down to the Icelandic coop last night. They are almost 6 weeks old so they are ready.

I've been so busy I am just scanning through all the recent posts.

Jake you better get to posting some pictures, that emu looks tired of waiting "gig

Jake you said one of your roos is SC, translation.... I'm under caffeinated this morning and can't for the life of me figure out what that could mean.

Yesterday evening, I went out to begin some chores and I thought I heard naughty kids, where they weren't supposed to be.

As I listened I could hear them talking, ever so quietly. "Shhh, you're making to much noise, here she comes,"

"If we don't look directly at her she can't see us." Um, yes, I can.Naughty birds.

So I did what any good mommy would do, I scooped up a whole handful of chickweed and tossed it to all the good chickens who weren't up a tree. You should have heard all the complaints coming from the tree

They came down to eat but the blue girl was back in the tree at bedtime last night and I had to use a board to poke her branch and get her to come down. The builder better finish that barn soon, apparently it's waaaay too crowded in my little coop

Those must be from eggs you got from Kathy! Mine would never act like that!

Ohh, speaking of eggs, I got an egg yesterday that was a bit lighter than the pale beige my cochin usually lays, and it was in the wrong nest box... Could one of the Icelandic girls finally be laying????

I'll keep and eye out today and see who slips into that nest box.
