The back of Ford's (my olive egger rooster) comb was like that. I see your son inherited your red hair!

Chick total ended up at 3, one blondie and two brunettes! The blonde has a reddish tint to its head and two very narrow stripes down its back. One brunette is reddish (pic above) and the other is more taupe. There were a total of 6 eggs. I had given three to Chickie Mama and three to another SLW who went broody. I didn't isolate the other Wyandotte and she ended up on the wrong nest twice so I took the eggs and gave them to Chickie Mama. Betting those got too cold before I found them and quit. Happy with the three!! New pics tomorrow!!

Since I was focusing on taking pics of roosters and their combs........the Kella pic of the week features a top shot of her to show off hers!!

Kathy, Here is my silver (not sure on the blue) boy..........does he look anything like your guy when he was younger? He was hatched June 3 or 4.
