Thanks Kelly! You should see what an improvement the black netting is. I'll post pics tomorrow after I get it stretched and tightened. Maybe next time you come over we can sit and enjoy it on a clean deck without construction junk. Nikki stopped by today and planted two parsley plants in my silly little raised bed, pulled all the weeds, then came back two hours later and watered the parsley! She didn't trust me to remember since we were underneath 40 pounds of net. The deer are probably eating the parsley right now and I will have to run out and buy more before she finds out I didn't string the deer netting either. She's a good neighbor.

I'll bring the coffee.

How nice of Nikki - however, the deer ARE probably eating it. (or the ground squirrels)

Coffee sounds good!

Its looks very nice Sheriff! It makes our backyard look like a junkyard.

I am using the stuff in the backyard to build a new coop, so while I am building the coop, I am cleaning the yard at the same time.

I read somewhere in this thread, that Icelandics are resistant to some disease. So, I am wondering what disease are they resistant to?

Hi Sheriff
It looks great, I can tell that you keep a peaceful and orderly town ! Cant wait to see the rest develop !

Daron very good thread ! You learned in a much shorter time what took some of us much longer to learn !! I'm sorry about losing your old girls, its hard. Everyone who has kept livestock any time at all has similar tales that they went through.

Michelle, about those puppy pictures, I missed them somehow

and am waiting to see them, I am sure you must have posted them with the new barn pics

I am adding a couple new breeds, in the spring, but building sheds etc now as much as I can, it needs to be. Much to do to get ready. 25 here the past two mornings so next week the Icelandics get a heater under their waterer and the goats get a heated one. It has to be.

Life is good, and better with Icelandic Chickens and Pack Goats !

I snapped this picture of Briet today. (she's holding her tail to the side, she does NOT have wry tail)

And Kathy - my poor barnevelder boy is going to get a complex with Olive being as big as him.
