Congrats on getting some Icelandics! I almost wish I had hitched a ride with you...almost.

If your Icelandic roo won't break that bad temper, I would be happy to give you a roo, once the 30 day quarantine pass, and all the birds come out healthy.
Here is how he pecked my nose- I was standing in the pen with my arms crossed, watching them get settled from the trip, when 2 Icelandic roos flew up to my arms, and one of them leaned over and pecked my nose.

It had smarted, but I had a laugh from it.

Thanks for the offer but I am still considering hatching some. I have to try out my new bator. Are you still wanting Icelandic eggs?

Yes, I still want some eggs from you. I plan to keep all the pullets from your stock for all the roos that I have now, and more are coming sometime this week, that makes 11 Icelandic roos.

Although I will not be keeping that many roos.

Just 4 or 5 total.

He looks purty, and the hens too. How many Icelandic hens do you have?

I have three, two that look almost the same and one mottled looking hen. The mottled one is standing on the other side of the cockeral in the first pic.
