Darn, I decorate & even have a motion detected witch (looks so real!) and a ghost (he runs down a string & laughs & howls) and I have no goblins...........

I got an email from IlliniPatT, and she said that she got her Icelandics from ebay eggs from Priscilla Meinholz. Any idea where she got her's stock from? Mary's line? I will post pictures of them tomorrow, I am already liking some of them, 'cept for the one that pecked my nose.

Hey fb,

In her eBay ad she states that they traveled to Iceland in 2003 and brought back 3 doz eggs. Her flock descended from these eggs.

I have admit that so far they are my favorite breed

Her website is woolfarm.com- she shows some of her beauties

If your Icelandic roo won't break that bad temper, I would be happy to give you a roo, once the 30 day quarantine pass, and all the birds come out healthy.
Here is how he pecked my nose- I was standing in the pen with my arms crossed, watching them get settled from the trip, when 2 Icelandic roos flew up to my arms, and one of them leaned over and pecked my nose.

Hey, Jake's friend told me about that, and I had read the ad, and liked how they wrote it out, I was wondering if that was the same person. Thanks!

Thanks for the offer but I am still considering hatching some. I have to try out my new bator. Are you still wanting Icelandic eggs?
