Mary the Isbars are the most awesome I have seen since the Icelandics !!!

How big are they? They look quite nice sized.

I was off line yesterday, Verizon was down here, cell phones too. A lot of mail to catch up on.

We had snow in the high places thurs, it came down hard, seen cars around yesterday with quite a bit on them, onew guy cleaning out the back of his pickup with a lot on the store parking lot so he could put his grocery bags in it, it was deep. Tis the season and I need to get the shed done this week, posts all set and trued, roofing wont be in til midweek, got half my hay delivered, need to stock up on more chicken feed. Their waterer has a heater under it, when they are moved into the shed they will have more daylight, plus a light so I am hoping the eggs start again.I moved stuff around inside for the Terrific 3 Feathered Ones table and brooder, now got to make those, that will be very soon.

Life is good, and better with Icelandic Chickens and Pack Goats !

The Isbars are still growing but I think they will be the size of most large breeds. The roosters has longer legs and is taller than the girls. I think they will be bigger than the Icelandics but maybe not as big as some large breeds. I'll try to get a pic of the with the Ameraucana they share a coop with.

As far as your trio of hairy legs be warned. They are getting spoiled. They require a scrambled bantam egg daily for both nourishment and exercise. The first one that gets a mouthful gets chased around the brooder until they all realize the is more.

Funny how molt can change a bird. Kola is sporting new colors. A couple of my New Hampshires look like crap after molting, like mottled or something (I was prepared for this, as I have read that this happens). My Miss Olive is just a pretty as can be! One of my SLW is just stunning. Molting..... it's just crazy.

I have some Ameraucanas that look like they went through a garbage disposal, twice.

One has a saddle on...
