Icelandic Chickens

Okay, not the best group shot, but every time I'd take my hand away they'd break for it. Nine babies! I really like the color of this baby, apparently hiding in the group shot. And just to prove Heimo (my feather legged roo) had his "hand" in this hatch, two feather legged babies. Deb
Congratulation Deb, love all the different colors..

only about 10 or 11 days to go (depends on if they hatch early) 12 out of the 14 eggs that NotAFarm sent me are developing!

Picture time! (FINALLY)

Here's Sven, one of the two cockerels.

Flekka, my oldest pullet.

Gunther, the other cockerel. He has got some huge waddles and comb for an Icee. I'm kind of surprised!

Gunther inspecting the camera.

The boys with some of the flock.

Autumn, another pullet. She's getting into the pyracantha berries I had picked. No crest on her, but a little feathering on her legs.

Summer, my third Icelandic pullet. She's being a good girl and letting me get a picture here.
