Icelandic Chickens

These are two of the hens with the roo, the 3rd hen decided not to cooperate. Two of the hens are crested.
This is my brooder hutch I have the icelandics, my Buckeyes and my Heritage Delaware chicks in there til it is time to go to the barn brooder.

These are the chickies.

Where are you at? And where might you be getting your eggs from? They are very enjoyable birds to have around.

I´m in Tulsa, OK and I´m not sure the person selling me the eggs would want me to share. She is picky about who she gets eggs to. I´ll ask her if she minds.

I guess we'll all be prepared..... I know MY Icelandics, enjoy "non-infected" corpses...

Lovely group you have there! Love that little blue pullet. And the white cockerel.

I ought to get a picture of my getup so that you can see how crazy I look some days! It usually consists of my pj's, my mucking boots, coat, gloves, and crazy bedhead. It looks even more fantastic when I'm in my rainbow tye-dye shirt and my pink and yellow stripey pants

I really don't care what the neighbors think, so long as they don't see me doing something awkward like getting an itch...........

Thanks...I'm not aware of any Viking genes in my DNA but I might have the hair part down

edited to add.....it's hard to take pics when they treat me like a scarecrow every time I walk in their grow out pen

Love the hair, Brad! Looks like my DH in the 70s!

Those chicks are getting big fast! That white cockerel is going to have some interesting color by the time he is grown.
