I had two hatch for the Cinco de Mayo, one needed hobbles, was getting around ok. Then one morning when I went to check on them it had died for some reason.

I have 6 broodies. 2 have chicks now, the 3rd I broke by moving her to another coop. 4th is sitting on eggs. 5 and 6 don't have anything yet. One of them is Briet, my 3 year old Icelandic - she has never gone broody before. She will be getting 5 or so Icelandic eggs from Sheriff Mary. The barnevelder will be getting barnevelder eggs and olive egger eggs.

Soooo.......when are you coming out to see her in "person/chicken"?Well, I confess I want to see Elska broody photos, the others not so much. I can't help it ELSKA has always been special. Thanks for the photo but, you know one will never be enough.
