Icelandic Chickens

Oh, and the birds .... they are charming. I did notice, as you say, how they grab and dash.

Today Bleethur (AKA Rico Suave) and Blamann (the beautiful blue) were allowed out of their holding pen. OMG .... they were everywhere! I think they covered all 4 acres! Mostly they stuck to the more heavily timbered (unkept) 2 acre area, where my birds have never ventured to. I was frantic, looking for them constantly. Every once in awhile they would come back to their pen for a drink of water, and then back to foraging. They are amazing birds.

That's what I do, Mary. All morning and until I have to go inside to get ready for work .... sitting out watching the silly birds!

Much better than the Soaps I watched years ago!

Old English was much like Icelandic over a thousand years ago before the Latin and Frence influence. What is referred to as Old Norse today is really the Old Iclelandic. Ref. Icelandic Sagas.

I finally figured out what the problem is Sigrid....your brain capacity is filled up! You need to clear it of some of the smart stuff to make room for BYC matters. Like wedge pressure, PIC lines, cardiac enzyme levels, etc. Let those go...you're needed here.

Thank you Sigrid! Your language is a bit like Spanish as far the feminine/masculine portion so maybe there is a chance that someday I will get it...

My biggest struggle is the pronunciation. Not knowing thigs like 'd' being said as 'th' so I imagine I am butchering some of these words. So thank you again for helping us to get it right!
We may have to change Fegurd to Annar (2nd) as 'th' does not role off my tongue very well. Its my harsh NY accent that kills it. ha!
