All four chicks have been moved to the brooder

The black one still isnt quite as active as the rest but is improving. The three blondys are eating and drinking! I sure wish more would have hatched though

Ryan, was that four out of the dozen that hatched? I can't remember if we discussed fertility or not. 21 days is a long time for me to remember. I would be happy to send you more if you want to try again.

I will send some eggs, too!

It was four out of two dozen. Thank you both, I am in line for another breed of eggs and should here from the breeder anytime. I will contact him ASAP and find out when and possibly hatch Icelandics at the same time. thanks.

Perhaps there is a fertility problem again? Gosh I am so sorry. How many made it to lockdown?

My poor little guy is so weak. You can see from the dried blood on him what a mess it was. I am hoping for the best but prepared for the worst. I will leave him overnight in the incubator.

My candler was having problems and I was incubating them along with some dark brown and green eggs(which I couldnt candle anyway) so I dont really know. But I do remember candling on the I think the sixth day and I posted that all were developing out of the six or so I checked. Perhaps the embryos were weakened though shipping? You did a marvelous job of packaging but the box was a little beat up through transit.
