Michael and I were visiting with our neighbor yesterday. His front door faces our pasture and barn. He has a co-worker meet him at the house in the mornings and they drive in to the office together. He said they love to watch the pop door open and the chickens run out and disperse to their various ranging areas in family groups. He said his friend is a long time chicken keeper and he commented on how colorful the flock is and how many different breeds I have! They were curious as to why they were all pretty small? I was cracking up until I realized that they must have seen me lying on the ground outside the chicken door, three days in a row to get this video.

Oh I totally forgot to report this. Stella hopped over the fence into the goat / emu yard yesterday and was immediately chased right back up and over by emus running fill tilt at her! It was hilarious. Michael thought the emus just saw her as a new friend but she panicked. I'll bet she stays out of that yard for awhile!
