Interesting comment.
You're going to have to move some around Andy because Sigrid's second egg importation came from the same uninhabited area as Lyle's eggs. Isi is from that group and Lukka is from the RALA group.
Ok, I need some insight/advice. I successfully re-homed two/three Icelandic cockerels that I got from Cheryl, and kept this guy:
Once his brothers were gone, he has started standing off with my much larger and older Splash Marans cockerel, Lil' Joe, he is trying to crow, and having a hissy fit when I go to pick him up! He is only supposed to be 8 weeks old!! Pecking at me, wing flapping, etc. Jeesh, he was such a sweetie when his brothers were around. I have decided that if he attacks me, he gets held under my arm until I am good and ready to put him down, otherwise he gets ignored. This works with Lil' Joe, who basically
always ignores me and stays away from me. (Of course, he grew up under a broody and the hens have let him have it when he misbehaves...)
Sound like a plan???
Thanks,
Dawn
