The Icelandics have Landed !!
They left Saginaw just after 11am, its a 2 hr drive, and she had other stops to make so I thought it was pretty good service.
Here at 3:45 pm EST.
The big box I could hear 3 talking so set it aside and started taking out the new hatches, I forgot how tiny mine were, some of these it seemed that they should be put back in an egg shell ! But after dipping each ones bill 3Xs in a coffee mug of water they went into their respective dog crates, 11 in one and 10 in another, all in beautiful shape including the little silver one. Funny thing only one remotely resembles mine, these really are a Gump Box of Chocolates !!
Much fun watching to be done ! After they were all watered and in their new homes I scattered some turkey starter around and one following another they began feeding, not a half hour out of the boxes, all had circled around the water jugs and drank, I counted each one off to drink, so 21 babies arrived safe and healthy and all are drinking and eating, doesnt get any better then that !
I took the big box out to the chicken house, opened it and laid it on its side and Blau was out immediately then Issison, and the Countess strutted out in her grand entrance. My littler guys checked them out and showed them where the food and water was. So 3 more made at home.
Life is good.
Mary these are beauties!
No other words for them, I am afraid that everyone else will be upset that you sent me the prettiest and hardiest ones ! But they are home here !!
