I don't have any.........that I know of anyway! Closest for me are my Scottish and Irish ancestors, which isn't that far really. After reading some of "The Sagas of Icelanders", it is possible
that some Viking blood slipped in there somewhere!
Not me - mostly Irish here. It's Mary's fault I have them - seeing them at her house, hearing what great broodies they are. Now watch, mine will never go broody.
Plus, I'm what you would call chicken will power weak - as in, I have none. Can't pass up a pretty chicken. Problem is, I haven't seen an ugly one yet.
Good news: I was able to get the last egg needed for your shipment and package them up to go out today.
The Bad news: Michael offered to go with me to the post office and do other errands. I begged off saying I was tired so he went alone. A stupid woman made and illegal u-turn across double solid lines and slammed into the passenger side if our car demolishing it. The same passenger side where I would have been sitting had I gone. Michael is ok. The stupid woman is ok but the box with the eggs and another containing blood specimens for pregnancy testing on out goats flew from the back of the hatchback and ended up in the passenger side floor! After our car was towed away on a flatbed, I spotted a postal truck in front of the grocery store. I asked him if he could accept the package and he did. If they arrive in the same condition as the car, I will gladly replace them at not cost. Just let me know when they get there and be sure to candle for detached air cells. I am so sorry.
Thanks Kelly, we'll be a one car family for awhile. The police officer said it would be about 10-15 days for a report to be issued. He said on scene that the other driver was completely at fault but that is what we thought last time.
What a day. At least you didn't declare all my chickens to be roos this morning so I have to count my blessings there.
