Sorry about your loss Kathy. I sure like your icebirds! Those roos look really nice,especially that silver one with the long tail feathers. Like all the little topknots too.

Kathy, it is that time of year. Alot are migrating to their winter grounds. You can see alot, and in groups if you live by the flyways. We see them more now than at any time of year. Especially along the coast. I am kind of a fan of raptors, so I like seeing them. Except near my birds.

This evening we had crows everywhere! Crows, crows, crows! They were LOUD! Scaring all the hawks away or what?

I hope the hawks won't be back. I had one close call with Asta and her chicks and my neighbor told me of another attempt that she saw, but so far I haven't lost any. I hope the netting discourages them and they move on to other "hunting grounds". Good on the boys for their vigilance!

I got the 50 x 50 2 inch heavy knotted for $88.00 plus shipping. It is much nicer than the heavy duty top flight netting we used at our last house.

Amazing Mary.... Love the theme and yeah, get that other fence built on your property. We have to put up barricades for a week that allow access to our church properties so that no one can claim domain to our parking lots etc....
